Hi fanatics,
My sixth cylinder fuel injector blew out last week. Error p0306 misfire on cylinder 6. I have installed a new plug, and new coil, same error.
I've done a lot of homework in terms of replacing it, and its quite an easy task, besides one unanswered question about the coding.
I see the part numbers for the injector on the N54 and N55 differ. My question now is, do I need to re-code (calibrate) the newly installed injector for the N55? Does the N55 run them individually, or like the N54 1-3 and 4-6 which means one can run lean, and the other rich, and vice versa...
I can find various write ups on the N54 and how to use INPA to do so, but do I need to do this on the N55, or is it pure part replacement and carry on?
The complete lack of any info tells me it might not be needed, but I cannot concretely confirm this.
If anyone has any insight to this, please drop a line here.![Ty Ty]()
Thanks in advance
