Picked this code up Friday night.

Just after I leave work, all is fine, pass the dreaded bumpy side roads I use to get to the collection point for my son.

Had a quick look at the time on the dash, will be there same time as usual, "fantastic" I thought.........glanced up in the rear view, checked ahead and then something red caught my eye on the dash...........airbag indicator.

I wont repeat the thoughts I had.

But when I stopped, I checked the code, as above, CC-ID 97.

Did some research late Friday night, most issues point to passenger seat mat sensor.

Glanced under the seat on Saturday Am, noted that the wiring and yellow connector box was out of place - box was not clipped into the underside of the seat where its meant to mount.

Sunday the 5th saw me taking the car for a wash, the guys at the car wash moved both seats so far back and I noted that they aren't very "respectful" in the way they do it.

Wednesday last week, I had to move the passenger seat forward again as well - pre warning and wiring points stated above.

Obviously the code can only be cleared and the diagnostics done with a tool.

Thankfully a mate has access to such equipment and will be checking it all up tomorrow night.

Hoping its not too major and it is the case of the wiring that was disturbed.

Will report back once the diagnostics has been done - fingers crossed, my CDO HATES such warning lights and beeps. Cry
