E36 328i convertible advice on buying?

Hi 

I have been a fan of the 328i convertible since I was a kid.

I have found an immaculate condition, original 1998 Automatic with 220000km and full service history at BMW. Price is on the high side at 90k but don't mind paying a little extra for the condition, or am I being crazy?

I will be viewing the vehicle later today.

I need advice on the following:

1. What to look for when buying? Common faults?

2. What preventative maintenance should need to be done if not done already? Rough costs?

3. Is it a good idea for a daily driver? (P.S by daily driving I mean 5km to work and back)

4. Minor service part costs? (Plugs, filters and oil) labour can do it myself.

5. Is the automatic gearbox reliable?

6. Is the 328i convertible a future classic?
