E90 LCI Halogen to Xenon (LFM module / coding?)

Hey all,

So I would like to find out, if doing an upgrade on a 320D LCI which comes with halogens, if I swap out the headlamps for the Xenon ones and purchase my own aftermarket ballasts, is there any additional things which could cause issues?

Such as the LFM module or additional coding which may be required?
Or would it be as simple as doing the conversation on other cars & bikes?
