So today the connector on the coolant pipe broke, looks like it was waiting to happen, the connector was slightly corroded. The whole pipe costs like R2k plus but my pipe is still in great condition, just connector broke. Any advise how to fix it without replacing the whole thing.

Was thinking about cutting a piece off the hose just below the metal band and get a new connector to push into the hose and use a clamp to tighten it but doesn’t look like anyone sells the connector loose. Even on real oem, it’s only listed as the whole hose and a single unit with the connectors.
