thick white smoke

Hey All,

Wish I could be posting something good about my significant others car. Where do I start, well everything was fine driving along the coast enjoying the CPT weather on sunday.

Upon returning to the car and starting her up, I got this bad shake/vibration from the car and it started smoking extremely heavy as if i had a vape gang in the boot.

The smoke was white and had a slight smell to it as if it had plastic melting. no errors on the dash. called the machie and he suggested to leave the car and start up again, did exactly that and the car started up and little to no smoke at all. Got home driving fine no dip in power and everything seemed to be OK.

This morning after cold start up the shake/vibration and dip in rev's started again and tons of white thick smoke and the yellow engine light appeared and she turned the car off.

what could this be?
car in question is a BMW 2007 320I belongs to my wife. having her insurance tow it to her RMI garage in Garden - Monaco Auto Services, in case we have to use the extended warranty.

I hoping this could be a bad case of ccv.
